Chris Cohen is an intellectual property and entertainment law associate. He received his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Prior to law school, Chris worked on an M.S. in Geography at Texas A&M University. He received a B.A. in International Relations and in Geography from Florida State University in 2000.
The House has passed the Family Entertainment and Copyright Act of 2005 (HR357). This is the legislation that Clearplay was hoping for.

"The Tokyo High Court on Thursday upheld a lower court ruling that MMO Japan Ltd violated the Copyright Law by providing an online service for swapping music files and ordered it to pay a total of 71 million yen in damages to a copyright association and 19 record labels."
